3-on-3 POND HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Flossmoor Baseball and Softball, the Homewood Flossmoor Park District and H-F Youth Hockey Association are hosting the INAUGURAL Flossmoor Freeze 3-on3 Pond Hockey Tournament from January 13-16 in Flossmoor, Illinois.  Located just 24 miles South of Chicago, the Flossmoor Freeze Tournament brings outdoor 'pond' hockey to Chicagoland.

Flossmoor Park's Bronco baseball field will be transformed into four (4) pond hockey rinks, where adult and youth teams will have the opportunity to play under the lights.  An additional two rinks will be used on the H-F Park District's Outdoor Ice Rink.  All rinks are located just off the Metra Rail Electric Lines' Flossmoor station.  The adult tournament will run Friday evening from 6pm to 10pm and
Saturday from 9am to 10pm.  Youth division will compete from 9am to 10pm on Sunday and
9am to 1pm on Monday.

Teams are comprised of 4-man rosters, playing 3-on-3 hockey, with each game consisting of two (2) twenty minute halfs.  All teams are guaranteed three games for the tournament, with the opportunity to advance to championship rounds.  There will be 32 adult men's teams and 8 adult women's teams on Friday and Saturday with 32 youth teams 10U and 13U divisions, competing on Sunday and Monday.  Registration Fees are $300 per adult team and $200 per youth team.

Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, located adjacent to the Flossmoor Metra Station and to the hockey rinks will have a Beer and Food tent onsite, serving their award-winning beers, hot chocolate and great pub food for all to enjoy Friday night and throughout the day and evening on Saturday.
